Amazing!

This is a long story! My best friend is pregnant and her baby is due in September. She is having a scheduled C-section, which is a good thing for her, but kind of sad for me because I thought she was my last hope to see a baby being born. (in real life, not on TV). Well one day, I was talking about it with a group of people from church and one of them was also pregnant. She said that this was her third baby and she was OK if I wanted to come and watch her baby's birth. YEAH! So for the past few weeks we have all been waiting, day after day, for Jacob Ellis to make his way into our world.

On Monday morning at 5 am I made my way to the hospital and starting around 10am I got to see the most amazing thing I have EVER seen! Jacob was born around 10:10am. I have thought about this over and over since Monday and it is still amazing to me. It was such a cool experience and a reminder that God has perfectly designed our bodies. God used Jacob's birth to remind me of His perfection and His works.

Thank you James and Jennifer for allowing me to witness the birth of your beautiful little boy!
It was a wonderful gift!

Bracelets and Reptiles

Making bracelets with the left over supplies from the Witness bracelets. Make sure that you not the huge pile of trash right behind the children. By the way, this is Wendy. She did an excellent job with the children while we were in Mexico.
God worked through her in mighty ways this last week.

This reptile was brought to me by a group of boys after I took a short little nap on a church pew. I as so tired! I was still a little groggy from my nap and they brought and held him right in my face. It was awesome! They giggled and carried on for a long time about this little guy. He was very small. The bottle of red liquid is a 20 ounce bottle of water (That is refilled with Gatorade!) and the little hand is that of a 4 or 5 year old. Later in the day I captured a larger one and carried it around for quite a while. Now as to the name of this animal, its a mystery. Some say cameliion, some say horny lizard, but the most popular answer was a horny toad. Any ideas? Post a comment!
